It’s a graffiti-stained, race track abstraction full of NPCs and criminals. The engineering is horrible. A mix of one-ways and confusing traffic patterns. Did you know the wrong left turn sends you off the edge of the Earth. Or that all buildings require system administrators, pop-bellies, and secret codes. How do businesses operate? Downtown isn’t safe for work. It isn’t safe for anything. Anyone. In fact, the police recommends relaxing on the roof. I know. It's ridiculous in theory and context. There’s no convenience. Noise pollution is a constant threat to humanity. It's stupidly expensive. And worst of all, there’s no parking. Some would argue they have one of the toughest jobs in the world. Trash men are exposed to the worst of the human experience. The workplace is toxic and your most hated coworker is trash. I believe they prefer to be called “waste management specialist” or “sanitation consultant” on dating profiles. There is a difference. For anyone confused, a trash man is a grunt. They are expendable. Big Trash hates them.

The trash man is the guy who owns the truck. He finances the robot arm. His signature is on the LLC. He’s conservative, wealthy, and stoic.
